Looks is a series of small-scale oil paintings made in the third quarter of 2025. The works explore the idea of "a passing glance"—the brief moment when our eyes move quickly across people and places. This idea comes from thinking about the fast pace of modern life. As we move through the world, every face and every detail often disappears from our view almost as soon as we notice it.

In these paintings, the main subject is often missing or placed in an unexpected part of the composition. This reflects the way we actually see things in everyday life, where our attention is always shifting. The figures often turn away from the viewer, show only their backs, or appear only in part, such as a face or a hand. Rather than presenting a complete image, the paintings focus on the fragmentary and fleeting nature of seeing.
