About Myself is an ongoing series that began in late 2025. Inspired by the Ship of Theseus, the project is a reflection on childhood memories and personal identity.

The series began with a simple question: if the cells in my body are gradually replaced over time, am I still the same person I was as a child? As time passes, perhaps what fades is not only specific memories, but also the person I used to be. That earlier version of myself slowly becomes a familiar stranger.

In this series, I experiment with a variety of media, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and tempera. I also explore different materials for the painting surface, using them as a way to expand my approach to making images. This spirit of experimentation extends to the style of the works as well, although it is more difficult to define in words.
